Dear Families,
I trust you all had some time to relax and enjoy the summer! I had a wonderful summer with family and friends, and this past week I had fun getting Room 122 ready for the 2018 - 2019 school year. Yes, I am excited to begin the school year on Tuesday, September 4, 2018! For the first day of school, please let your child know that he or she should go directly to Room 122 and bring his or her school supplies and backpack to the classroom. After some input from the children, I will be assigning hallway lockers later in the day. If for any reason you cannot locate your child's "Supply List," I have attached a copy of it in this email. Please don't hesitate to be in touch if you have any questions regarding the supplies. Last but not least, I look forward to meeting many of you at Curriculum Night on Thursday, September 6th. Curriculum Night begins at 7:00 PM and we will be wrapping things up at 8:00 PM. Thank you for your time. I am eager to be your child's teacher, and I look forward to creating an educational partnership with you and your child. Best regards, Sharon Postma Plan Ahead: September 2018

Ms. PostmaI am currently entering my thirty-ninth year of teaching and can't help but wonder where has the time gone. I love teaching fourth graders, and I continue to stand in awe of the fact that learning still brings joy and excitement to my heart. Archives
